Overview

The 5D/4N Inca Trail is one of the most iconic trekking experiences in the world, ideal for adventure and history lovers. This ancient route, built by the Incas centuries ago, crosses mountains, valleys, and jungles until it reaches the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu. With five days and four nights of hiking, you will have the opportunity to explore ancient trails, hidden archaeological sites, and Andean landscapes that look like something out of a postcard. During the 5D/4N Inca Trail, you will have a unique experience camping in the heart of nature, enjoying nights under a starry sky, and walking along trails surrounded by snow-capped mountains and cloud forests. Each day presents a different challenge, with demanding ascents and descents that will lead you to discover archaeological sites such as Llactapata, Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, and Phuyupatamarca, all witnesses to the greatness of the Inca Empire. One of the most eagerly awaited moments comes at dawn on the last day, when you enter through the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) and get your first panoramic view of Machu Picchu. After several days of hiking, the reward of contemplating this wonder of the modern world from above is simply unforgettable. Accompanied by a specialized guide, you will tour the temples, plazas, and terraces of the citadel while learning the secrets of Inca culture.
