The following 16-day Peru tour itinerary is fully customizable. Contact us and we’ll be happy to help plan the tour of your dreams.
04:30 – 05:00 hrs: Pick up passengers at their hotels in Cusco and departure to Cusipata.
07:00 hrs: Breakfast at a local restaurant.
08:00 hrs: Continuation of the trip to the starting point of the hike.
8:30 a.m.: Start of the hike to the Mountain of Colors (approx. 1 hour and 30 min, depending on pace).
10:30 a.m.: Arrival at the summit and free time to enjoy the scenery, take pictures, and receive information about the place from the guide.
11:30 a.m.: Return hike to the starting point.
1:00 p.m.: Lunch at a local restaurant in Cusipata.
2:00 p.m.: Return to the city of Cusco.
5:00 p.m.: Arrival in Cusco.

Wear warm clothing in layers, as temperatures can vary dramatically throughout the day.
Wear comfortable and sturdy hiking boots.
Bring a hat, gloves, and scarf for the cold, as well as sunglasses and sunscreen.
Bring a rain poncho during the rainy season (November to March).
Be in good physical condition for hiking at over 5,000 meters above sea level.
Stay well hydrated and bring extra water.
Avoid alcohol and heavy meals the night before the tour.
Bring cash in soles for additional expenses.
If you are sensitive to altitude, consider spending a night in Cusco to acclimatize before the tour.
