Upon arrival at Cusco Airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in the historic center. You will be greeted with a traditional coca tea, perfect for acclimating to the altitude of the imperial city.

In the afternoon, we will begin the Cusco City Tour, exploring the temples and fortresses that best represent the Inca legacy. We will visit Qoricancha, or the Temple of the Sun, one of the most important sanctuaries of the Inca Empire, and then continue to Sacsayhuamán, famous for its massive stone walls and as the site of the Inti Raymi festival. We will also explore Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial center; Tambomachay, dedicated to water worship; and Puca Pucara, a reddish stone fortress that once guarded the Inca roads.

At the end of the tour, we will return to Cusco, giving you the evening free to enjoy the local cuisine, stroll through the colonial streets, and rest for the following day.

At sunrise, we will begin one of the most anticipated experiences of the trip: a visit to Machu Picchu, the jewel of the Inca Empire and one of the modern wonders of the world. Very early in the morning, we will head to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the tourist train that travels through the Sacred Valley along the Urubamba River. Through the train windows, the Andean landscapes will captivate us: mist-covered mountains, rivers winding through deep valleys, and small communities that still preserve the essence of ancient Peru.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, a professional guide will accompany us on the bus ride up to the Inca citadel. Gradually, the mountains will part to reveal the imposing silhouette of Machu Picchu, suspended among clouds and surrounded by a landscape that seems frozen in time.

During the tour, we will uncover the secrets of this sacred site: temples dedicated to the sun, perfectly aligned agricultural terraces, stone-carved water fountains, and the mysteries of its architecture, which combine harmony, precision, and spirituality. Very early in the morning, we will begin our tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Cusco. We will continue to Chinchero, a charming Andean village where we will visit a traditional textile center, watching local women create fabrics using ancient techniques and natural dyes. Next, we will visit Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory with circular terraces showcasing the empire’s advanced farming engineering. Nearby are the Maras Salt Mines, over 3,000 white pools that reflect the sun and have produced handcrafted salt since pre-Inca times.

The tour continues to Ollantaytambo, an impressive fortress built on the mountainside, symbolizing the military and spiritual power of the Incas. We will also explore Pisaq, famous for its artisan market and agricultural terraces with unique views of the valley.

During the day, we will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring local ingredients and traditional recipes from the Sacred Valley. In the late afternoon, we will return to Cusco, carrying in our hearts an unforgettable experience full of history, culture, and connection with the essence of the Inca Empire.
